Installation
Quasar Camera is an advanced photography system for FiveM where every photo becomes a unique inventory item with metadata. Featuring smooth animations, zoom, flash sync, and durability, it’s perfect for journalists, detectives, or influencers. Photos can be shared via Discord webhooks or viewed in a 3D gallery. Fully compatible with ESX and QBCORE, it adds realism and creativity to roleplay.
Download Script
To download the assets needed for this script, you must access the official Cfx.re portal, where all assets purchased through Tebex are managed.
Go to the following link: 🔗 https://portal.cfx.re/assets/granted-assets
Log in with the same Cfx.re account you used to make the purchase.
In the list of granted assets, find and download the following:
Camera
Download Dependencies
This script requires some mandatory dependencies to function correctly. Make sure to download and extract them inside your server’s main directory, keeping their original folder structure intact.
Remove Other Scripts
This script may cause conflicts or errors if you use other Camera systems on your server. It’s strongly recommended to remove them completely before installation to prevent compatibility or functionality issues.
Server.cfg Placement
This script must always start after es_extended or qb-core, never before.
We recommend placing it below in your server.cfg, ensuring that all its dependencies are started first to prevent errors or unexpected behavior.
Photo System Setup
Do not use Discord webhooks for this. Use Fivemanage only — it’s the correct and safe way to store photos and videos from the phone.
This step is very important, if you skip it, you won’t be able to take photos in the phone. Please follow everything carefully.
1. Download and Replace CFX-Natives
Go to this page: 🔗 https://github.com/citizenfx/cfx-server-data/tree/master/resources
There you’ll find the new CFX-Natives files. Find the folder on your server that has the same files (the names will look the same). Delete the old ones and copy the new files there.
These files exist in all FiveM servers — your server won’t start without them. If you can’t find them, just use the Windows search bar and type “natives” to locate them.
2. Delete Your Server Cache
Once you’ve replaced the natives, go to your main server folder (where server.cfg is located).
Delete the folder named cache.
This makes sure your server loads the new files correctly.
3. Token Setup for Photos and Videos
Now we’ll connect the phone’s photo system. Go to https://fivemanage.com, create an account, and generate a token.
Then open this file:
qs-camera/server/custom/webhooks.lua
and paste your token inside the section called Config.Webhook.
